You get what you pay for

I was attracted by the company's reputation, low price and consolidated cable management. However, after my experience with two of these switches (original plus spare), I think I'm moving away from the all-in-one KVM design. On both devices, the Port 1 mouse had a very annoying problem: when you clicked or the mouse, there was a one-second delay before anything happened. At first glance, this didn't seem like a big deal, but after about 10 minutes of keyboard and mouse work, the error was driving me insane. I tried several different mice but got the same results. Also, port 2's video was bouncing around a bit every second or so - it's very subtle (looks like the wrong refresh rate) but annoying. Maybe the switch doesn't support 1280 x 1024 x 32 bits -- I'm not sure because the "manual" (double-sided piece of paper 5 x 11 inches) doesn't say that. BTW the tech support was as useless as the manual. - very short, unfamiliar with the product and recommended for return. Beware!
