I used them mainly for swimming lessons After swimming lessons for 2 girls and having to swim myself, they got heavy with 3 large towels and smelled quite. These travel towels are soft, compact and dry girls so quickly that dressing is a breeze. I actually bought 2 sets and I use an XL orange towel for myself, 2 girls L gray towels and a small blue towel to dry my feet before putting my shoes back on. We also took them on a hike where my husband used other XL and small towels. I love how fast they dry, how little they pack and how they don't smell even after being folded and damp for 2 days. I'm tempted to buy them for everyday use as our bathroom has poor ventilation so our towels can stay damp much longer than I'd like.
