Review on Jewelry Clay Resin Mold Jewellery by Carrie Spencer

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Expensive but worth it!

I bought this for resin jewelry. It's been on my wish list for a while because of the price ($16 for a jewelry mold), but I'm so glad I finally bought it! This is really high quality! This is not a flimsy, cheap mold that will only last a few times like many others. It has weight, thickness, even seems to have more flexibility than others. You'll see what I mean when you pick it up, the difference is very clear. I think it could be rubber or a mix of rubber and silicone. I find that it lasts significantly longer than regular silicone molds. I had no trouble removing the cured resin which still doesn't stick. In addition, the size of the individual jewelery shapes is ideal for pendants and brooches. Not tiny (which resin molds often are), but not so big that they are difficult to use/carry. Some shapes even have smaller versions in the shape, making them perfect for a matching pair of earrings or maybe a mother daughter necklace set (big for mom, small for baby) or even a larger pendant on the side. on the sides with smaller pendants. Many possibilities. I even thought it would be nice to use them as filigree/embellishment on some holiday decorations. Eventually I'll try to update this with some photos and let you guys know how it performs after long term use and any issues or issues that came with it. . Well made so far, but worth the money.
