Review on πŸ“Ά Enhance Your Mobile Network Coverage with High Gain 10dBi SMA Male Wide Band 3G/4G LTE Omni-Directional Outdoor Antenna by Eifagur by Chris Shepherd

If you use a MIMO router, you need 2 antennas.

I'm camping and I'm taking my Netgear MR1100 Cellular Router. When I get to remote locations where I'm on the fringes of reception, I use two of these to improve speed and reception. In areas with stable reception, I don't see an increase in bands, but I do see an increase in connection stability. This results in a higher speed overall. I also use them at home to improve stability. I went from a normal 40Mbps download and 6Mbps upload to a steady 60Mbps download and 10Mbps upload. So far I only see 2-3 stripes, but the increase in speed and stability is very noticeable. I am 6 miles from the nearest tower at my house. For me the investment is worth it, but for that I needed two antennas. Nothing has really improved.
