I gave this to my guinea pig when he was suffering from diarrhea and lethargy. We took 2 doses a day and also started vitamin C. After a few days she recovered and ate more hay but still refused pellets and her favorite fresh vegetables. So we upped the dose and she also started chewing on her pellets. I kept giving her this until she gained a decent amount of the weight she had lost. Now she feels great and is eating like a champ again! This product is a real lifesaver - I don't think she would have survived without it. From now on we will always have this bag at hand!
