My soda can exploded when I opened it. Anything that fell on my seats collected in a puddle and was easily wiped away - thanks to the chemists. I am satisfied enough to take the time to rate this item positively. This product helps reduce liquid damage to fabric surfaces, not a miracle product you can spray on and automatically stop everything like a plastic wrap. The instructions downplay it a bit, but you really need to work this product in evenly to be successful. The fabric of the car is porous so the goal is to distribute this product throughout the fabric and pores to ensure puddles form. A few tips that have worked for me. 1) coat all non-target surfaces because it gets everywhere 2) spray liberally onto your car's fabric. and use a horsehair brush to work the product over. Focus on seams and stitches. Spray enough to cover everything but not too hard that your seat looks wet. Spray a little onto the brush and rub around the seat. When you think you've covered it, do another pass and it should count as one layer. Be meticulous in your seats and take it piece by piece. 3) Let it dry completely and then do another full pass. You'll need several passes to make sure you're covering it properly. I used 1/5 of a bottle for the interior of a compact SUV. 15/10 I will buy again.
