Not for parrots.: Toys

I was rather skeptical about ordering this item as it was quite affordable and good value. I've typically seen these wheels at my local pet store for around $25. Spring. I suspect there are several reasons why it's cheaper than expected. First off, this is by no means a parrot-friendly toy. The thing is easy to take apart! "And birds are incredibly clever at pulling things apart and taking them apart. I've tried hundreds of toys. The reason they are easy to disassemble is because of their overly complicated construction. The bolt in the center serves as the part that holds the front wheel in place as well as the part that makes the wheel spin. Rotation. If you leave it too loose, the wheel will spin, but your bird will have it apart in under 10 minutes. Another design flaw is how you attach it to the side of the cage. If you have a wide bar spacing cage this item will not stay in place at all unless you try to purchase additional parts to modify it. *which wouldn't be worth it because your bird will take it apart. Despite this. There isn't enough plastic on the sides to press firmly against the pucks. If they trap big pucks in sets of two, they might have a better chance of staying put. Unfortunately, mine hardly stays there now. He more or less leans on the bar to stand. Large bar spacing = not suitable for this product. This item is also a chore to install yourself due to every little detail. It is possible, but it would be much easier with a partner. The transparency is more like frosted glass, clear on the front wheel but clear on the sides(?). * And the last one. in relation to the seller. Please, please, please do not stick cheap stickers directly onto the goods (especially food/toys)! Whenever you try to peel them off, it leaves a huge mess of paper and piles of glue that are very difficult to remove. It is easier to attach a piece of paper with points. By the way, I did not receive any instructions for this product. Just a sticker talking about another sticker. I wouldn't mess with this product unless you're giving it to a small pet that doesn't have the knowledge to take things apart. -And it needs to be adjusted for a cage with not so big bar spacing. Unfortunately, I was rather disappointed with this purchase.

  • KEEP PARROT BUSY
Cons
