Overall I am very satisfied with these dice. They are attractive, heavy and desirable on game night. I bought 8 of these sets in different colors all in DNDND. Some bones came in fancy black boxes with dragons on them, others in plain metal boxes. Dragon crates are cool, but metal crates are boring. Two of the metal boxes have small dents because they were packed hastily and the cubes were sticking out of the metal from the inside. In addition, all dice boxes were well packaged with multiple layers of bubble wrap to protect them during transit, and all boxes arrived safe and sound with no shipping damage. I don't know why some came in different boxes, maybe by accident? I received 3 sets in kite boxes and 5 in plain metal. None of them had the DNDND logo on top, but the kite boxes had the logos on the bottom. Some dice sets sold at Revain have problems with D4 numbers not matching properly. I haven't had any D4 mismatch issues on any of the colored dice I've bought. Also D4 are sharp! I bet if you step on one of them unexpectedly, it will pierce your foot... These dice have standard sides, so the sum of opposite sides of W20 is 21, W6 is 7, etc. W8 are real regular octahedrons, without ribs longer than others. Sometimes you see D8s where one axle is slightly longer than the other two. D8 is slightly smaller than D6, which I find odd, but not a determining factor. I am uploading a comparison photo with the "official" D8 that came with my D&D Essentials Kit. I will also upload a picture of the whole set and compare the dimensions of each to some "official" dice. All metal dice are slightly smaller than traditional plastic dice. I bought 8 sets, all with gold metal edges and numbers, but with different edge colors. The blue and black sets are my favorites due to the high contrast between the metal and the color. They are easiest to read from the other side of the table. Other colors like yellow or the shiny cube are still good, but harder to see from a distance due to the lower contrast between the numbers and the background. I still like them because they compliment the color palette I was aiming for. In fairness, I have no way of testing dice, and I won't spend hours spinning and recording every roll to see if there are trends that deviate from the average... But: On my scale, what measures +/- 1g, the difference between individual cubes with the same number of sides is no more than 1g. By measuring each color set together, the difference between the weights of the color sets is no more than 1g. By measuring the width of the sides of various cubes using vernier calipers with a digital micrometer, I've found that the difference is +/- 0.1mm, which equates to around 0.5% processing error. My scale and caliper are not scientific, not certified, etc., so some of this error may be due to my measurements.
