Tires for all-wheel-drive SUVs that are both high quality and comfy. The runout isn't terrible, but it is a little worse than a pure road tire, so you may expect a maximum consumption rise of 5-7%. In the winter, though, here in our latitudes, spikes are the way to go. There are benefits: Keeps its footing in puddles up to 2 inches thick and performs admirably on wet pavement. In spite of the rain, I drove along the highway at a steady 130-140 km/h. Gentle; it takes bumps in stride. The difference in handling compared to standard road tires was almost negligible. Inaudible at any cruising speed. There is no feedback from the wheel. Effective braking performance in all weather conditions. Even with my 285/60 R18 tires, the roads are in decent condition. Negatives include that it made the car seem more massive, like a ship, which made several people sick to their stomachs when riding in it. On the highway, speeds of 160 or more were a bit unsettling, although 140 was more typical. It is immediately washed away on wet clay and chernozem, although this is to be expected. It's a minor annoyance that pebbles get caught in the tread, but that's about it.
