I have many Wi-Fi drains between a smart hub with light and sockets, a Wi-Fi thermostat, 5 computers, two X boxes, 4 smart TVs, 4 tablets, 4 smartphones. . . I think that's it. That might not sound like much to some of you, but I live in a rural town of 1,800 people and our affordable internet service is underwhelming. We'll be fine. However, I have problems with streaming services that start around 7pm every night. Streaming movies tend to have buffering issues no matter what resolution I'm streaming at. About a month ago my ISP went down a couple of times when our service went down completely and the guy said that (after they fixed the lines) the only thing I could do to speed up the process was to get a Trying WiFi range extenders as I've exhausted their available speeds. I finally decided to take the plunge and give it a try. This one sounded like it might help so I ordered it. Setup was very easy and only took a few minutes. The evening show took almost three and a half hours to watch a film that was 145 minutes behind. to the device (due to buffering issues every few minutes), I only had four buffering issues throughout the entire 110 minute movie a couple of nights ago. It's a HUGE difference, while not perfect, it's as close as I can get to the internet service I can get here in Eastern Oregon Sticks.
