My ceiling fan switch cord was difficult to pull and then broke. I went to the Orange Box store and bought a new switch. The seller said it was an exact replacement. This gave three speeds: high-high-high. Not good. After reading some Hunter fan reviews, I went to the Blue Box store and bought another Switch.a Harbor Breeze #0033905. There were also three speeds. If only the fan were off. The original switch was WTC-1, WELL TEC E116997. The recommended replacement is the #ZE-268S6 Zing Ear Switch. ZE-268S6 ordered. It matched the connection points on the back of the original switch. I installed a new switch this afternoon. All is well with the world! I now have three correct speeds on my fan. BTW, Hunter fan, model 23510. Hope this helps.
