Bought this phone for my father who is blind and very hard of hearing. Finally we can hear and understand each other. Earlier when we talked I could tell that he couldn't understand me and the conversation didn't really satisfy either of us. Now we talk more often and he hears what I say thanks to the amplifier. He has Parkinson's and the cordless nature of the phone allows him to keep it close to him so he no longer has to walk across the living room to answer a call. Great price and works very well! I highly recommend it.
