I bought a 2008 Hornet 742T remote keyless system. One of the two original remotes was lost meaning I would soon need a replacement or I wouldn't be able to turn off the alarm if the last remote was also lost. The Hornet system is no longer made but was made by Directed Electronics and the original remote looks exactly like this 474T item. I was very concerned if this item would work on my Hornet system. Luckily my Hornet remote had 2/66 and different text on the back of the remote that matched the back of this 474T item. I made an educated guess and purchased this item. After programming, this remote control now works perfectly. WARNING: You will need instructions from your original system (Hornet in my case) to enter system programming mode to communicate with this 474T. Also use the instructions included with the 474T to complete the programming. This is a perfect one-to-one replacement for my original remote. 5 Stars!
