Installed this fairing on our 2005 Honda Odyssey. It's nothing fancy, but it's a rubber pad that looks just like the factory pad. It's tight, but that's what you want. I didn't use hot water, lube, or prying tools - just my hands. I started by inserting the bottom of the pedal first, then working through a top corner, then through the top to the other top corner. Make sure the lip on the back of the shoe completely encloses the pedal and is flat and level all around. It was really just a little tricky, and mostly because of the odd angle and tight fit in front of the driver's seat. You'll be on your knees for a few minutes, so use something soft to get onto your knees. I didn't time it, but it took about 5 minutes to remove the old gasket and put the new one back in place.
