The starter itself is easy to install. 2 screws and some wires. Getting there was the hardest part on my 2004 Honda Odyssey. The battery compartment needs to be removed and one screw is very tight. You'll also need an extension for your ratchet wrench, about 5 inches for the bottom starter screw. Without the battery compartment and the fact that the screws were so old and rusty, it would have taken 20 minutes. Instead, it took me several hours to figure out how to remove the last battery compartment screw.
