Got these for our front yard which is too far from the house for plugged in lights. Initially had some trouble getting them to work. Set them up, pushed the button, and got nothing come the nighttime. Wasn't sure if it was an issue with the lights themselves or too little sunlight. Unscrewed the solar stake with a notion of replacing the AA battery and realized I just hadn't been pushing the button far in enough, which makes a very noticeable click when correctly done. There's no obvious indicator to tell when the button is on or off during the day, but I found you can simply put the solar panel face down to cover the light sensor and push the button until the lights turn on.Just bought another pair of these to fill out the front.
