There have been many reviews on these not- for entry-level sets. In general I don't totally agree, but I really have to say about this particular pattern that it is by no means for beginners. The pattern printed on fabric is useful but too simplistic. There are no color blocks or directions for yellow-orange or transitioning to different shades of green. Some of the kits I made offered stitches for different areas (French knots for clouds etc) but in this case the package only included a very small, poorly photocopied version of the amazon listing image. I ended up having to go *back to the list* to see a specific part. It's a wonderful design and materials. good for what you pay. But there are other projects (on the same list!) that had better instructions and more predictable results. Beginners avoid this particular pattern and tend towards floral patterns.
