Everyone can use a split ring from time to time. I always find a use for these split rings. Sometimes you need different sized rings to attach something to your keychain and having different sizes really helps. They are useful not only for keys but for many other things. Believe it or not, you can search "split ring pliers" and find pliers that will open the ring for you and allow you to attach it to a keyhole or whatever. Have you ever tried to "split" one of those rings, holding it open while I try to unroll it to play? said Nuff.
