Review on Black Body Composition Scale: Smart Digital Bathroom Weight Scale with Smartphone App - 400 pounds / 180kg by Mary Walters

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Slim, Accurate Enough, Durable

I keep this scale in my kitchen to weigh myself every morning before dunking in coffee and oatmeal to track how much actual and water weight I'm holding in a day today . I'm getting old! Here are some of my thoughts: What I like: - Sleek design. The scale sits very close to the floor and doesn't stick out where I could pinch my toe if I forget to slide it back under the hover stand. I would say less than an inch high. Elegant black design. It looks really good, no flashy colors or crazy logos to distract from the sheikh's black lines. Accurate from day to day. My weight doesn't fluctuate much (when I don't add salt to my meals) and this scale pretty much captures my static days. When I know I should get (Thanksgiving!), Libra tells me what I already suspect. What I missed: - No memory function. My old scale recorded my weight and showed a net change from day to day and from the average weekly weight. There are no frills with this model. Easy on/off. The battery life is average. I've had it for a few months now and am on my second set of batteries (brand name). I don't think I've ever changed the dial in my old model, so it's surprising that this thing seems very power hungry, especially since there's no 'smart' connection. There seems to be a preference for 0.2lb increments with heavier weights. I just lost 300 pounds and this scale seems to only want to show my weight in large increments. 316.8, 316.4, 317.0, 316.8, 318.4 (turkey day!), 316.6, 316.2, 316.6. those were my measurements of the last weeks. It's strange, but it seems to be preferred in the evenings. In general I recommend. 4.5/5 stars for the base scale.
