This mat is large enough to cover the whole tub. It is actually the second one I have bought. I cut the first one down to fit an oval tub. it suctions down nicely, stays in place with no lifting. It is machine washable. I threw it in the washer with a couple towels and it did a nice job cleaning it. However, it didn't get all the mildew that was growing up in the suctions. Just like every other suction mat, stuff grows in the suctions because that is what happens when you have a moist area that won't get dry. It can be cleaned though with a scrub brush and cleaner. I still gave the mat a 4 because it is serving it's purpose and is well made.
