Inexpensive. no satin
I bought this tie thinking it was satin but the tag says 100% polyester on the back. And it's definitely not satin. Also, I spent a decent amount of time trimming the tie threads that were sticking out everywhere. I'm hoping the black tie party I'm going to is in a fairly dark room. The tie is a bit short, but that doesn't bother me - I think smaller is better than too big!
