Big YES for casual wear, big NO for water shoes.
I ordered these water boots to wear river hoses. I have a narrow foot, size 8 1/2, ordered a size 39. They fit well because they can be tightened with laces. I find them suitable for medium to wide feet as they are stretchy. I like shoes for summer everyday, like sneakers can be worn without socks, but for water I didn't like them at all. Sand and small pebbles went through the holes making them terribly uncomfortable out of the water. In addition, larger stones got stuck in the grooves under the sneakers. So, big yes to casual summer sneakers, big no to water boots.
