Review on High Mount Spare Tire Carrier - Extreme Max 3001.0064 by Chris Pettway

Good construction and very strong construction! I really like the angle of the spare wheel. Leaves enough space for the boat. The only problem is that with a 6 bolt wheel like mine you have to change the bolt pattern. Holes for 6 eyelets are already drilled, but the screws are difficult to work with. They're easy to pop out with a hammer, but you'll need a shop press to insert them into the holes. If you're like me, all you need is a dremel and a hammer. I filed the holes a little and also filed the grooves on the studs a little. And with some PB Blaster or WD-40 and a hammer they went straight in! with a little effort! Holds up very well. Of course, if you have a store-bought hydraulic press handy, that's no problem! 😅
