Review on πŸ”Œ 3-Port Charging OTG Hub with Ethernet Adapter for Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019), Tab A7, Tab S4, Tab S5e Android Tablet and Host USB C Cable by Douglas Jakab

Works well with Samsung Galaxy Tab A7

Ethernet works as expected with Samsung Galaxy Tab A7, although Android 10 doesn't recognize it for system updates. Apparently, the A10 only recognizes a WLAN connection for updates. A nice feature is the blue light that flashes in the center USB port when network traffic is being transmitted. the blue indicator flashes briefly when the cable is connected to the adapter. The voltage is 5.2V when using a Samsung USB charger as the power source. The PSU gets warm, but there was no odor to indicate overheating. The USB ports worked with USB sticks and a wireless USB mouse. Packaged in a well labeled ziplock plastic bag - no tools required to open. Thanks very much! Note 1: Android may show the device is charging when the adapter and external power are connected, but the device is not actually charging. This can be checked by turning off the device and noticing that the battery percentage is not showing when the power button is pressed. Note 2: The USB memory connected to the adapter can be disabled via the notification in the quick setting menu (notification panel).
