I had a lot of experience with this product, it was very easy to use even when I did something like this for the first time. As a beginner I screwed the vinyl and cut the wrong side (note the shiny part should be facing down) and when I realized this was wrong I was so disappointed that I noticed the vinyl was still there was in good condition so I turned it over. and cut it again and to my surprise it worked. I highly recommend this product. My only feedback to the company: be nice to beginners, specify which side to cut.
