Vera Bradley Small Cotton Utility Crossbody Bag (Black) looks really like the picture on the Revain website. The measurements in the description are correct and the wallet is definitely soft and made from recycled cotton. The bag even comes with a Cotton logo tag. I personally consider the handbag to be more of a medium-sized handbag than a small one. It has an adjustable strap so you can wear it over the shoulder or across the body. Carrying it over the shoulder worked, but when I adjusted the strap to wear it full body, I needed a few inches more of the strap to fit my full body properly. In addition, the strap made of the seat belt material is not padded, so depending on the style of outerwear and the position of the strap, it may cause rubbing and/or scratches on the shoulder or neck. The handbag features two vertical pockets on the front of the wallet and four pockets inside the wallet. One pocket on the front of the bag is open at the top and I use it to store my 8/oval brush while the second zippered front pocket stashes my glasses case. I have to keep these two items in the outside pockets because they fit snugly in the pockets they are in, so they don't easily fall out of a pocket that doesn't have a zipper and from a pocket that doesn't stay closed because of something wrong with the snap . Plus both items when I put it in a thin handbag it looks full and bulky. The main part of the bag has a zip compartment and is divided into four pockets. The first pocket is the full width of the wallet. It fits a Kindle Fire, a small notepad, a smartphone, clean face masks, and maybe a thin paperback or a few pieces of mail. Then there are two open vertical pockets, you can put some small items, such as pens, pencils, chewing gum, mints, lipstick, etc. Then there is a fourth pocket in the main body of the wallet, which has its own zippered compartment where you can put your wallet, purse and other small valuables that you want to keep safe. Overall, the wallet matches the photo and description on the Revain site, is made from soft, lightweight recycled cotton, has multiple pockets to keep your belongings organized, and you can carry your Kindle Fire and smartphone in the main pocket wear with zipper. As for versatility, I have to deduct a few stars for the following reasons: 1. I can't use it as a "shoulder bag" because the strap is a bit short and not soft.2. You cannot put anything that does not fit properly in the two vertical front pockets because one does not close and the other does not close due to a broken button, and small items can fall out of the pockets and get lost. 3. Because there is no front pocket that closes or keeps closed, there is nowhere to put my keys to avoid losing them, and I can grab them quickly to quickly and safely open my car, home, or work door, when I leave the house. 4. The case appears to not only be designed to be lightweight, but to look lightweight and have a slimmer profile, which is aesthetically pleasing until you try rounder and/or thicker items, like a case for my glasses, then to fit in the pocket appears full and lumpy.
