A fairly easy replacement if you watch a few videos on YouTube. I also had to check iFixIt for the screw pattern. Additionally, the insides of different iPhone 7 models will have slight nuances depending on when and where they were manufactured, so be careful. I also had a purple spot on the screen at first, which went away when I heard the final click, as the screen finally seemed to snap into place when I pressed the display fairly hard. I'm giving it 3 stars for several reasons: 1. The screen interface doesn't exactly look like an OEM unit. The surface is not so smooth and my fingers "snag" when wiping.2. color off. I'm not sure if it's the display or the fact that it hasn't been calibrated like Apple does with in-store screen replacement products.3. Perhaps most annoyingly, 3D Touch has mysteriously stopped working. I don't recall reading this anywhere in the product description but it seems like a big oversight. I probably would have left fewer stars but the screen was very cheap compared to a replacement made at the Apple store. You get what you pay for.
