Review on Pyle Professional Audio Mixer Console by Patty Martin

I returned it and ordered a Behringer Xenyx 1202FX (see my review of this mixer). This mixer produced unacceptable noise on my recordings. At first I thought it was the microphones or the cables. but even with everything removed (all input cables unplugged), noise levels were noticeable in the recording (Audacity on my Linux laptop). Every recording I made required too much noise reduction, sacrificing the quality of the vocal sound. The Behringer mixer - with the same mics and cables and the same laptop - was much, much better, with almost no noise. Incidentally, the Behringer 1202FX has twice the inputs, pan and balance on all inputs, a stereo output and 100 effects. The whole thing is about $10 more expensive than this blender. The only thing Pyle has that Behringer doesn't have is USB and Bluetooth. But the USB on the Pyle is only a USB input (no output), so the RCA input and output on the Behringer more than make up for that. And the Bluetooth on the stack is constantly off, so it wasn't good.
