Review on πŸ”‹ TERA PUMP Portable Battery-Powered Water/Fuel Transfer Pump with Auto-Stop - 2.4 GPM by Mark Holloway

Works very well with keg and hand pumps

I've had mine (TRH-A03) for about a month now and have used it 3 times. I started with new batteries and used the same set all 3 times. The third time the device started squeaking and turning off. So I got 2 new batteries and when I used them everything was fine. So I only got about 2 uses from a new battery pack (about 31 gallons of gas pumped in total) per battery pack. Both times I took the batteries out and stored them at home so they wouldn't be exposed to the cold of my garage. Aside from being a bit of a battery hog, I'm very happy with this purchase. When I fill my cars with a 5 gallon canister, I place the canister on top of a 5 gallon cat litter bucket so the hose reaches my car's gas filler neck. Make sure that the filler neck of this device does not protrude from the filler opening of your vehicle. The spout of the pump is not very long and can easily pop out of your car's filler neck if you're not careful. I don't leave mine unattended while pumping, just for this reason. If he accidentally jumped out, he would quickly fill everything around him with gasoline. The auto shut off feature worked great every time I used this pump and gave my car full throttle. If this remains a good quality product I'll probably switch to the 110v/12v model (model TREP03) which they have with a longer spout and hose (98.4 inches) which saves all my shortcomings of this product will be eliminated.
