I bought this to hold my camera overhead from the ceiling rather than using my C-post in an awkward and slightly dangerous position and this thing fits perfectly . It's solid and with the right screws and brackets it's very durable. The package includes fasteners to attach to concrete but that wasn't in my situation so I just used my own. I currently have two holes attached directly to the stud and screwed the other two into the drywall anchor. Hold on tight and I don't have to worry. I also plan to use it for my fairly heavy softbox. I could get another one to hang the main camera from the ceiling, but I'd have to get a longer one to allow the camera to be positioned at face level. But I have a few other hardware ideas for this additional setup. But overall I am very happy with this purchase.
