My package should arrive at the end of July/August. I ordered on June 22nd and it arrived on July 2nd. Very surprised by this! The product itself exceeded expectations. The seal is very strong, made of heavy wood and metal, very beautiful. The melting spoon is slightly charred on the bottom, but that's no big deal. The main problem is with the wax itself. I'm not entirely sure if it's wax. It doesn't cut or scrape easily, and when it melts it smells distinctly of hot glue. I suspect it's made of the same material. This isn't really an issue, it still melts and pours well and creates a solid image when pressed. It was difficult to control how much wax I was able to get into the spoon during my testing due to the difficulty I had cutting, but now that I know it's easy to explain. Another issue is that I find it hardens very quickly, which can make it difficult to press evenly and make the spoon difficult to clean. All in all I would recommend it as a starter kit. I think the seal itself will far outlive the rest of the kit and replacements and refills are easy to find. If anyone else could confirm or deny having had a similar experience with "wax" sticks, I'd appreciate it!
