Great for flat surfaces, does not fit some furniture

I bought this to use with our love seat but the angle and seat width of our furniture is not suitable. The legs of the table fall into the places of the split seats, even on the sofa. And our furniture has a slight tilt when you sit in it, so the table angle is not comfortable. My grandkids have used it on the floor for a variety of purposes and it works well on a flat countertop.
