Watch DIY video online (You don't need to punch a needle to replace a cut key with a blank - your original key will work great with the new button and spring). all original internals except the new key spring and knob, turn the spring counterclockwise 2 turns, snap the new housing into place, insert a new 2032 battery and finally replace the battery cover. This replacement fits my 2013 Chevy Volt perfectly and looks sleeker without the logo on the back. Very satisfied and will be buying a second case for my stash. Total time < 15 minutes
