Received this as spam musubi. It makes perfectly even spam chunks, but the plastic handle that the steel wires are attached to seems to have a lot of recoil. I handled it very carefully so as not to break it. It would be a better product if the cutting handle was metal as well. Update: My fears were justified, I've used it twice and the wires went from cutting to a slapping, twisted mass. Do not buy. I'm looking for other designs that don't use those cheap wires to reduce spam. Update #2: Found a temporary workaround for the taut wires, shoved some toothpicks behind the wires to stretch them back out, but you'll notice the sharp bend in the plastic. In the meantime I have ordered a bamboo bread slice guide that should work with the thin bread slice guide.
