Review on Schwinn Deluxe Bicycle Wheel Mounted by Keith Alvord

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Good but not great.

My own experience: Enthusiastic urban cyclist, ex-motorcyclist, the side of the touring bike fits my 6'3" frame and weighs 200 pounds. Passenger, with enough seat belts. If you're an avid cyclist, you'll quickly get used to the new center of gravity. Two stars were deducted for the following: 1) Seat cushion: The seat cushion is an airbag only and does not provide enough passenger support. I had trouble hitting bumps as my passenger complained of back/neck pain. Please do something about the crappy seat cushion. 2) 3 point seat belt: Most car - seats have an intermediate clip to connect the shoulder straps, this does not exist and I have found that the shoulder straps can slip off the shoulders. Please add any clip to connect the two shoulder straps to keep them from slipping off shoulders. 3) The mounting hardware is not adjustable, so you will need to choose your own lower seat mounting method, or use it as standard if the seat is mounted higher (which greatly affects ride quality). Please consider offering mounts with multiple pre-drilled holes. Overall, I'd buy it again, but try to leave room in the budget for a better seat cushion and optional harness hardware, and be prepared to roll up your sleeves and get creative. Installing a seat (or dealing with a higher center of gravity).
