Failed after 8 months of use

I really liked this hub as long as it lasted. Broke after 8 months of use. The hub worked 24 hours a day, seven days a week, perhaps it wasn't intended for such use. One fine evening, the hub was unable to transfer any data. I noticed that the hub was painfully hot. Fail. Turning the hub on and off didn't fix the issue. Since this is such an expensive hub, I gave it one star. For the price it should last a long time.
