I bought 2 of these kits. I recently installed USB A sockets in it. I connected the 10ft and 6ft cables together and did the same with the other pack. I use the same outlet with USB-A ports. They work well and I use them to charge my phone with a USB-A to USB-C fast charger cable and my phone charges just like my fast charger. I also have a remote control that I use that needs to be charged and works very well with it. I zipped them to a power cord, which I also bought for security reasons and because they fit under my living room sofa. As long as they do their job well. It might be a bit pricey, but there aren't many USB 3.0 extenders out there. I may buy more later after giving them time to work.
