I needed a router to distribute an iota in the country to all available devices. Alas, not so much is written about compatibility with an iota of reviews about various routers in 2022 - mostly people write about their work with 3G modems. So it took a long time to discriminate between different models, and to take the MR3020 in a sense at random. So if one of the readers is looking for a router for just such a purpose - do not hesitate, it works with the Yot modem (I have LU-156). And I have (purchase - October 2022) - out of the box, without any flashing there. Why MR3020 and not something else. I wanted cheap - because my router had to perform exactly one function, and I didn’t need all its other abilities. Therefore, everything that is more expensive than 1500 fell away automatically. Zukheli, which Iota itself offers as a paired device, also disappeared due to a very large number of negative reviews. Asus-18 (I don’t remember the letters) - dropped out for the price, because. Huge functionality is not needed. Two Upvel models - I was afraid of a noname. As a result, I ordered TRENDnet TEW-655BR3G and this one, deciding to choose by touch. The trendnet was nothing to the touch, but I was embarrassed by the complete absence of mention on the box and in the instructions about its work with 4G modems. Everything concerned only 3G, and the American one - Verizon, AT&T. So the MR3020 remained, plus there were a lot of reviews for it, written by obviously professional IT people (they start from page 4), that the modem is being configured and flashed, etc. I didn’t have to shaman at all: a small white device was pulled out of a very beautiful (a la iPhone) white box (slightly shorter than a pack of cigarettes), and after sticking an iota into it, the Internet appeared everywhere in the house without any settings at all (well, only entered the password on the tablet and that's it). Through a foam block wall (from one corner of the house to another, 15 meters in a straight line) and through wooden floors (9 m), the signal strength is 90%. Cool. Buyer tip: Buy a long USB 2.0 micro USB cable (!). In the kit it is 30 cm, and USB 1.0 from the smartphone does NOT work.
