Review on Acer VG240Y Bmiix FREESYNC Technology 23.8", 1920X1080P, 75Hz, Frameless, HD, HDMI by Paul Gjonnes

I have a feeling some people just like to complain. I do not know. I have NO issues with the monitor using the included HDMI cable or my own DisplayPort cable. No flicker, no 8-bit color, no artifacts, no hassles. I'm running it at 144hz at 1440p and it's gold. There is only one problem and that is sophistry so I didn't give it a star or anything but the screen has a black bar all around the monitor. There's no bezel, but it might as well have a half-inch bezel for the black dead screen that surrounds everything. Again, this is picky, but I figured something was wrong with my GPU settings and was trying to figure out why overscan wasn't fixing the issue. Finally, the speakers here suck, and that goes for even crappy monitor speakers. They'll help you out if you need it temporarily, but you're better off buying Amazon's $15 base laptop speakers than the ones on this monitor. Not a deal breaker, but worth mentioning.
