Easy assembly. One of the dowels (for stability) didn't line up so I have 3 of the 4 dowels and I feel they are quite strong. Doesn't take up much space. The important thing is, this is my cat. LOVE IT! He is very picky and usually prefers the sofa/bed over anything else but accepted straight away, we installed it a little over 24 hours ago and he's been in it a number of times. As. He came out to eat. But that's all. He slept so well in it last night that I had to wake him up for breakfast. He loves to. My boyfriend was skeptical as he is so picky but I was right which is even nicer. He's so cute in it and he's a big 18 pound boy and he's definitely big enough to be comfortable. Recommend!
