The instructions that came with the battery said not to let it get to 0% and recharge to at least 50% when it got to 3% or it would damage the battery. Do tell why it was at 0% when received and would never charge?I have to remove the battery to use my laptop otherwise it won't turn on. The first time it "charged" it said 255% battery remaining. So I restarted the computer to get it to reset. It then said 100%, I left it plugged in for 5 hours, unplugged it to run on battery. It lasted 20 minutes before crashing, no low-battery warning. I plugged the computer back in and now getting disk errors so Iet Windows run its fixes. Restarted yet again, now the battery says 4hrs until fully charged and 0% battery remaining. The computer is still plugged-in and I get a "critical battery" message. The computer then crashes a few minutes later. My computer never did this with the old Lenovo battery and doesn't do it plugged-in without this battery.I'll be sending it back and try from this seller one more time.
