I purchased this for my husband that has come to a time in life where a bit of help getting up is good. This chair is pretty and has very soft fabric but it’s not very comfortable. Not cushy as it looks the seat has very little padding at all. The first two weeks it lifts ok but now it lists a bit to the right. It would be nice if the foot rest came out first and not only in the semi to full recline positions. You either sit or recline. No just sit with foot rest up. I would have returned it if it wasn’t such a hassle to get it here. The back came three days late then the base a week after that. Yes it comes in two boxes but ridiculously spread apart.
