Below is a review from my wife who wore the shoes: I bought these shoes for a winter wedding where I was a bridesmaid. I ordered an 8 1/2 which is my usual size and the shoes fit comfortably. Before the wedding I wore the shoes a few times to break them in and I had no pain, no discomfort, no blisters. There is a little padding in the shoe for support and comfort, which probably added to the comfort. The heel and toe box didn't seem too tight to me and the feet are a bit wide. On my wedding day, the shoes kept my toes warm while shooting in the snow, which was one of my main goals. Textured floors prevent slipping on stairs and dance floors. After eight hours of wearing the shoes, I had no complaints. I took them off to dance out of habit but I could probably wear them comfortably and safely. I will definitely wear them again.
