Review on Presto Pressure Cooker Canner Regulator by Sarah Codina

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I built a Frankenstein pressure cooker :)

My t-fal sensor-2 pressure regulator broke after years of use. I must have replaced it at least 2-3 times to date. T-fal has stopped producing this part. The stove is in almost new condition, made of stainless steel. I couldn't throw it away just because they stopped the plastic part. Then this idea came to me. I removed the remaining intact assembly and replaced it with a Presto pressure tube on the small hole on one side of the cooker lid. Then I brought this weight (withstands 15 psi) and the result! A 10 year old almost new oven was saved. She cooked better than the original T-Fal stove. Frankenstein won! We call it the Frankenstein Plate!
