The air purifier works well. Can run at high or low speed. It also has a mute function that reduces fan noise to soft white noise for sleep mode. There is a timer for 2 or 4 hours although I left it running the whole time. Both my son and I suffer from allergies, he has been using an air purifier for many years, but I decided to get one for my room as well as the allergy has been particularly bad for my eyes this year. This cleaner really helped although it wasn't as big as some make it out to be. It is 11 inches high and 7 inches wide. The only thing I would change is the intensity of the light from above, although it doesn't glow in the silent mode I wear when I'm in the room. I think a smaller indicator light would suffice as opposed to such a bright light. I am happy with the results of this air purifier and would recommend it to others. Hope it lasts long.
