I think the product must be from different suppliers as I bought it based on the good reviews. The ones I received had metal clips, not plastic, but the first time my wife went to change the band it took 15 minutes and she had to resort to needle nose pliers and a small screwdriver to get it off. I was afraid I would break Fitbit. It doesn't look like it will come off easily, but forget about changing the stripe to a different color to match the outfit. I see others who like them and either haven't tried replacing them yet or the product has changed.
