Review on 🚰 Enhanced EV9282 01 Everpure H 1200 Replacement Cartridge by Clint Blackman

The best water supply system under the sink.

Over the years I've had several water filters for my kitchen faucet: polyurethane systems that attach directly to the faucet, two-stage Omni filters under the sink, Whirlpool/PUR filters for the refrigerator. The Everpure H-1200 two-stage filtration system is by far the best. It's a lot more expensive than the others, but the cartridges last about a year (depending on usage). I've had this system for 8 years now and I have no dreams of replacing it. It's so well made that you couldn't tell it's old unless one of the brand stickers peeled off. This replacement kit contains the #1 and #2 filter cartridges. They are tied together with plastic wrap and a small box that only covers about the bottom 1/5 of the cylinders. Each cartridge has a plastic cover to protect the connectors. In the small box you will also find a warranty booklet and a replacement reminder "system". It's basically just Everpure's signature plastic case that can be glued to the side of one of the cartridges. You pull the tab to bring the internal batteries into contact with the timing mechanism. Exactly one year later, the alarm sounds. I have no idea what that sounds like as I've always just thrown them away. Whether or not you use a "Dohickey" replacement cartridge, you'll know when it's time to change your filters when water flow slows. This means that the activated carbon it contains has run out and needs to be replaced. It lasts about a year or 1000 gallons. According to the Everpure website, this filtration system removes the following from your drinking water: Below the federal law limit of 15 parts per billion cysts such as Giardia lamblia, Entamoeba histolytica and Cryptosporidium parvum, volatiles. Organic Chemicals (VOCs) including THM MTBE Chlorine taste and odor Chloramine taste and odor Dirt and haze Mold and algae Oxidized iron Oxidized manganese Oxidized sulfides (which is an overstatement unless you're drinking from a dirty puddle), this system removes all the evil that can be in your drinking water but leaves behind all the necessary electrolytes.
