This USB 3.0 flash drive offers much better performance than advertised. Speed shown is USB 2.0; It's definitely a USB 3.0 device, though, capable of speeds close to a spinning hard drive. Here is the read/write speed I measured on my laptop: WRITE (Seq1M (8QT1)): 158.52 READ (Seq1M (8QT1)): 139.27. I think the only downside is that it's a lot longer than most USB sticks. It's protruding slightly beyond your USB port. However, it has a relatively large hole for hanging it on a key chain or strap. The metal body feels very solid and appears to be well made. All in all, this is a very good USB stick with good speed. I definitely recommend it. good price too.
