Review on πŸ“¦ Ultimaxx Folding Premium Compact Lightweight by Michelle Williams

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Exactly what I needed!

I have this for my large backpack - I carry my heavy old work laptop, BT keyboard and mouse, various paper files and notepads as well as personal electronics, power adapters and notepad. . At 63 I just can't throw my backpack over my shoulder like I used to! It seemed like a reasonable alternative. I wasn't sure what to expect for the price but most reviews loved it so I gave it a try. Today is my first day of use so I only gave it 4 stars for reliability. I will update the review with photos soon and revise my reviews after using them for a while. Cart Review -1) Mine came with a fairly long bungee but I can't comment on it as I haven't used it yet. . The trolley is very light; The extensions are aluminum and have a square cross-section, which I've found to hold up much better than round ones. 2) The pins that pop out to lock automatically are smooth and secure - don't worry about them slipping. 3) The plastic handle is quite comfortable, we'll have to see how it stands up to use in the cold. 4) There seems to have been a lot of thought given to the "pin release" button that allows you to extend or release the grip. It's on the handle so it won't accidentally detach when pulling the trolley. I tried to push the cart in front of me with my palm on the top of the handle and couldn't accidentally "let go". After playing around with this, I found that the knob should be "under" the handle. Surface - You must use your finger or thumb to insert into the grip. Since the button is only 1.5 inches wide, it would be pretty hard to accidentally do it. 5) The extension is almost 8 inches wide. My backpack has a wide strap on the back and slides well on my hands (so I don't need a bungee) 6) The base is a sturdy plastic platform with multiple slots and holes. There are small feet at the front to keep the platform level - the platform is about 2 inches off the ground so small puddles shouldn't be a problem. I found that the platform has a built in locking mechanism to prevent the loaded cart from falling forward. Take an unloaded cart and turn it with the platform on the table, then press on the bottom of the platform - you will hear/feel a click as it locks into place. Now that I'm familiar with it, I no longer need to use the desktop.
