Some other reviews note that it is made of solid wood. That is not right; It's made of high-density fiberboard (although it's good quality, to fool some people at times?). My stereo system consists of a turntable and an iPod connected to the receiver. I mostly play on the iPod, but I have a small collection of records that definitely sound better on vinyl. In general, there are not so many furniture options for a phonograph, receiver and small record collection. I appreciate that this piece of furniture exists as it is perfect for what I need and looks pretty good. .
